Who we are. Salerno Tour Guide (salernotourguide.com) is an independent, reader-supported travel guide to tours from Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. You can reach us at [email protected].

Information we collect. We do not run user accounts, newsletters or comment forms, so we don't ask you for personal information. Like most websites, our host may automatically process standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and device in order to keep the site secure. To understand which pages are useful we use Google Analytics 4 (Google's measurement ID G-5BJ4VYX225), provided by Google. Analytics only runs once you have given consent (see Cookies below); until then Google Consent Mode keeps it from storing analytics cookies or identifiers on your device.

Cookies & consent. On your first visit a banner asks whether you consent to analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets analytics cookies to measure how the site is used; if you decline, no analytics cookies are stored and Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode. Your choice is remembered on your device — to change or withdraw it, clear this site's data (cookies and local storage) in your browser and the banner will appear again. Essential cookies may also be used to make the site work. We additionally load GetYourGuide's partner analytics script (pa.umd.production.min.js) so the tour availability widgets function and bookings you make after clicking through can be attributed to this site; GetYourGuide may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; blocking them won't stop you reading the site.

Affiliate links & disclosure. Many outbound links to tours are affiliate links to GetYourGuide, and hotel links may go to Trip.com. If you click one and make a booking, we may earn a commission — you pay exactly the same price you would pay going direct, and the commission comes out of the partner's margin, not your pocket. We only feature experiences we would book ourselves, and commissions never influence which tours we recommend or the order they appear in.

Third parties & your booking. When you click through and book, you are transacting with GetYourGuide (or the relevant partner), and their own privacy policy and terms govern the data you give them — your name, contact and payment details go to them, never to us. We never see or store your booking or payment information.

Your choices & rights. Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data held about you and to object to certain processing. Because we hold little or no personal data about individual visitors, most requests are best directed to the specific service (your host, analytics provider or GetYourGuide). Children. This site is intended for a general adult travel-planning audience and is not directed at children under 16.
